From where I sit, the grass is green, the sky is blue, and I find that I enjoy life through an ongoing realization that everything says something. However large or small, simple or complex, everything has a larger meaning. So this is my blog; my personal column to reflect on life. As a reporter, this blog will have a journalistic feel and hopefully be worth your time — so please give me your feedback and let me know how I’m doing :) Here’s a little more about me …

Catherine Rogers, 22, is a ‘12 graduate of Bryan College (Dayton, Tenn.) with a B. A. degree in Communications Studies and Journalism, minoring in History. A native of the Virginia Beach area, Rogers has been published in The Daily Press (Hampton Roads, Va.) and interned with the local NBC and FOX affiliate broadcast stations there, WAVY-TV10 & FOX43. Rogers has also been published in The Herald-News (Dayton, Tenn.), The Times Observer (New York City, N.Y.), WORLD on Campus (online), The Aquila Report (online), and The Bryan College Triangle, of which she has served as a writer, photographer, Multimedia Editor and Editor-In-Chief over the last three years. Rogers is wholeheartedly committed to the service that can be done through reporting truth and particularly aspires to serve in the world of broadcast and multimedia journalism.
